Magi X's Revival

Hey there, so this exact day marks the 8th year when I stopped posting any content.
Since Zen expressed his intention of updating the blog seriously this time, I'm also coming back!
So despite the 8 year hiatus I've still been building kits of my own. So my next few posts will be about my works these past 8 years.
Some photos may be quite old so bear with me.

Will try to do some updates on the look and feel of the page, if I have the time.
Zen did an good job creating a logo for the page, and we'll be utilizing it as our watermark and page banner.

That's it for now look out for future posts!

Daily Figure Posting

Hi Zjhentohlauedy (AKA Zen) here and for the next couple of months I'm going to be posting one figure a day.
This is basically going to be a sort of archive/museum for me to keep record of all my figures. Everything from scaled figures to Gacha and trading figures to Garage kits and Model kits that I've built and am going to build.

We'll be Having the following daily themes!

MECHA Mondays - for all your robot needs
T&G Tuesdays - for Trading Figures and Gacha Prizes
WILDCARD Wednesday - for non anime figure items like toys, keychains and other merchandise
TRACE ON Thursdays - for all my garage kits, model kits and Sculpts
FIGMA Fridays - for figmas, revoltechs and other posable figures
SCALE FIGURE Saturdays/Sundays - for larger mass produced scale figures

Below is a preview of what's to come!

E2046 Yearly Contest!

So yeah the blog has been silent for quite a while now. Both Zen and I were busy finishing a Garage kit for a contest organized by an online Garage kit shop named www.e2046.com . And 1 rule of the contest says that we can publish any pictures not until the contest is finished, to even out or to avoid favoritism even before the contest begins.

So here are our entries!

Melissa Seraphy WIP Part 2

So I'm back! Time to write the continuation of this WIP. And this time around I'll be talking about the painting process, the most exciting part of scale modelling!

Lets get started!

After priming and painting all the parts in flat white (to have a neutral/white canvas) I've decided to first paint the flesh tone, so I first paint the parts where I think the shadows would show, with clear orange.

Then I paint the flesh tone and avoided painting over the "shadows" instead I sprayed light mist to blend the clear orange with the flesh tone.
